Okay you crafty people! Have you thought about making a rain barrel? This is a great earth friendly project that I think most of you can handle. The most challenging part was finding a barrel to use- but you can buy them already assembled at places like Home Depot or Whole Foods. The idea is to capture rain water and save it for your irrigation uses. The easiest thing to do is to divert the rainwater from your gutters. Some gardening groups offer workshops, your fee covers materials and they help you assemble it.
