Halloween is just 37 days away ... are you ready? I'm going to spend this weeking getting out my decorations and making that halloween banner I've really been wanting to do.
The deets:
Stamp: Teresa Collins/Stamper's Anonymous
Paper: Tim Holtz Ideaology, Kraft Paper Stash - Halloween Haunts pad (psssst - this is irRESISTible paper!) Kraft and black cardstock
Other: ribbon, bats (MS punch), Tattered Angels glimmer mist in Jack O'Lantern
And I wanted to show off this little cutie, she hung out with me last week and is available for adoption. She was mesmorized by this little hanging chandelier (I have almost the same pic of Mudpie staring at it) - its a little blurry, I apologize for that >^..^<
And one of her just lounging around:
Its Monday, and its time for another Squigglefly challenge. This week the challenge is to make a card using any squigglefly image and use this sketch.
I used Squigglefly's Tangled Hair from Lulu, and the sentiment "I date zombies, they're the only guys who like me fro my brains" from Chesney Young. The paper is from Echo Park - Apothecary collection.

This card uses the All Things Unity challenge "three way" incorporating a stamp, a sticker or rubon, and one other embellishment. I'm also playing along with the Ippity Fall Challenge <--- click to go check it out.
Easy peasy, dollar store project!
Votive container ($1) from the dollar store, painted with some Martha Stewart glitter paint (and if you haven't tried this stuff yet - you need to RUN, not walk to your closest Michael's). This color is fire opal, its orangey-gold glittered goodness.
The flower had fallen off a bunch and I added a beaded center.
This week's inspiration challenge features the Etsy store of DT member Kerry "Capturing Creativity" and Kerry is ALSO sponsoring this week's Etsy Inspired challenge! She is providing TWO great prizes for lucky participants playing along this week.
I was inspired by her wonderful clean, bright
Halloween themed cards, here are a few of them:
So without any further ado, here is my inspired boo! (hey, that rhymes!)
Details:
Cardstock: White, Black
Paper: K & Co. Que Sera Sera 8 x 8 stack
Stamps: Halloween from Basic Grey
Spiders: Thumbrints by me!
Other: Thickers letters in white foam
It may be a bit untraditional but its for the special SCS challenges Hope You Can Cling To - this is for the "Pink Holidays" challenge, in which we were to use pink for a holiday card (any holiday, except Valentines!).
The details:
Stamp: Midnight Raven, En Francais (both SU)
Ink: Pretty in Pink, Regal Rose, Melon Mambo (all SU)
Cardstock: whisper white, basic black and pretty in pink (all SU)
Accessories: Black ribbon (PTI) and black bats with an EK Success punch
One more with Stampin' Up's new stamp called "Midnight Raven" - its a single in the new 2010 Holiday mini catalog.
I used a page from a magazine (this is a great way to '"upcycle" anything you've read) and sponged the new Concord Crush ink color, with a bit of Bermuda Blue (if you don't have this you could substitute Tempting Turquoise or a blue) for a little color pop all around the stamped image.
The bottom is a scallop edge punch from the sale-a-bration catalog, and I used a bit of
