I love recycling other items for my projects, you know that right? So when I had a gift bag with was red poinsettia's that blew out on the side ... I didn't throw it out. Nope, not me. I decided it would make wonderful backgrounds (and more) for paper crafting.
This week's Etsy Inspired store this week is Ling Glass shop. Ling Glass has a variety of jewelry pieces - vintage style pendants, rings, and earrings all made from stained glass and soldered wire. Just beautiful!
Their red pieces were my inspiration for this card:
The pointsettia is stamped on watercolor paper, then heat embossed with gold embossing powder. I watercolored the image using Riding Hood Red and Garden Green (both from SU). I added Judikin's DG3 - a clear gloss similar to SU's Crystal Effects.
The details:
Stamp: The Angel Company (TAC)
Ink: Kraft, Riding Hood Red, and Garden Green
Cardstock: Kraft
Accessories: SU ribbon and background is cut from a gift bag
Just beautiful!
