After not feeling alot of gumption yesterday, I actually made a few cards. I was encouraged by Papertrey Ink's challenge to use up my scraps, so I went into my stamp room and found some cardstock that I had die cut, and these cute Amy Butler muslin tags (I had gotten them on clearance *awhile* ago, lol! but knew I would have a perfect opportunity to use them), some red embroidery floss and jumbo eyelets with my crop-o-dile (which is still one of my MOST FAVORITE purchases of all time! I use it on EVERYTHING!).
These cards will go in the mail on Monday, for Operation Write Home. They're blank inside for use for deployed troops. You can read more about OWH <-------- by clicking and there are shipping deadlines for specific holidays - although they need birthday and all occasion cards year round. And if you're creating cards for OWH for the first time you can send them 1 card or 100, but you'll want to read the guidelines first - there are some critical pieces of info there like the "no glitter" rule.
