Think Pink!

I've "pink-ified" this photo in honor of October Breast Cancer month.  And, this is my *first* smilebox!   

Here I am with Lauren (aka "mytime") and Alexa, Staci (aka Misermom) and Kim - the MFT lady and her super cute daugher, this was taken back in April when Lauren and Alexa and the rest of her family were in Orlando for the Make A Wish trip, Staci was in town visiting with her family and Kim drove to meet us from Eustis!

UHU and My Favorite Things!

And, my new Stamp Set called HOT STUFF came from My Favorite Things, I have a monthly subscription to "card class in a box" through Paper Pretties.  You can click on the links and go directly to their site!

I like the UHU glue roller, its slightly larger in size than other double sided tape rollers and it was actually comfortable to hold onto and I thought the larger size made it easier to use.  It rolled onto cardstock smoothly, sometimes my other brand glue runner doesn't lay down a nice even line, this one did - every time!

I've been keeping my eyes open in the local stores for refills, but so far, I think refills are only available online.  I'm hoping if this product is successful, refills will be available locally!

I made two cards this morning from the set.  What do I love about MFT things?  Besides the contemporary, whimsical designs - I love how well the sentiments stamp!  I get a nice clean image each and every time with the sentiments!  Not to disparage other stamp manufacturer's ... but sometimes clear stamps don't seem to stamp that crisply or cleanly!  These clear stamps are "clearly different".

My new stamps from My Favorite Things came the other day !  I've been waiting for inspiration and it finally hit! In the form of chocolate! LOL..

The first card is just a warm up ..... with the some ribbon that I hadn't used and was just waiting for the perfect project!  The candles and icing are glitter glue ... they're still a little puffy from being wet (couldn't wait till they were dry to take the pic!).

The second card is a shaker card, with lots of fun-fetti!
