I had one more stamped pin, this one in blue! I'm pleased to report that I placed second in the pin contest for StampFest Orlando :-)
I used the colorwash faux bleach technique <---- tutorial available by clicking, and then stamped the sentiment "Live Dance Love" stamp from Inky Antics on top. I punched a few holes in the bottom and added some swarovski crystal beading with a few buttons - I went for variety. And I added a charm left over from a bracelet project (the bird). Its stamped on white paper, and adhered onto black paper.
At Stampfest, I also got to see SCS-er "Bad Sherry" (Sherry Cheever) in person - she was doing make and takes at one of the booths. Sherry did the great tutorial on the faux bleach.
All the deets:
Stamps: Anise from Mark's Finest Papers, Inky Antics
Inks: Peeled Paint, Broken China, Chipped Saphire (Tim Holtz distress inks), Versamark and black embossing powder.
Accessories: buttons, crystals, silver bird charm
