It seems like its been for-EVER since I've done a square card. And since I've been feeling "less than inspired" lately ... I decided to try something different.
I have been wanting to play along with the Kraftin Kimmie challenges since I first started seeing their images! Inky hugs to Margie for stamping some and sending them my way! This card is for the Red, Black and White Kraftin Kimmie challenge #24.
This card ALSO is for the Oh Alice challenge #8 - Flowers! I had some vintage barkcloth that I had surrendered a while ago to my crafting pile - and I cut these with Big Shot and a sizzix die (I think its Flower Layers). The background is made with the cuttlebug Damask embossing folder, I inked over the embossed areas in a combination of Antique Linen, Lipstick and Walnut Stain distress inks. The image is colored with Copic markers and I used stickles on the stamped roses she's holding.
