Here are some new pics of my "kitten" Wednesday {aka Monkey}! I had a hard time getting her photographed, so kept moving and running towards the camer!

Okay, maybe not soooo "wordless". This is Wednesday's momma (aka Lucy Goosie). I had fostered her and her kittens, unfortunately she didn't fare too well at the shelter awaiting adoption. She ended up with a nasty eye infection (we're still not sure from what as no other cat got it) and just not doing well in general. So, I agreed to take her home. I do have to tell you she is a gem, sweet and loving and very, very well behaved. Her eye has healed fairly well, it just remains with a little haze to it (its her left eye). She's a beauty, don't you think?
I know many of you have missed seeing this sweet little face! My kitten {Wednesday} is 8 months old already and growing big!
And speaking of growing .... all this week its my week for "Growing in Unity" - I'll be featuring Unity on my blog all week long!
I think she is pouting in the above pic - some kitty mischief I interupted! LOL

Its been a while since I've posted any pics of my kitten (or at least new ones) so these are some to enjoy that I took over the weekend!
She's getting big and hasn't substantially changed much over the past month, just bigger. Oh - and she's found her "voice". Yep - after months of silence she seems to have alot to say! :-) She's a hoot! Not only has she gotten pretty vocal, but she loves to play with the laser light - and will demand you play with the laser light!
And one more digi-page .... this kit is from Monika Designs, the Midnight Garden.
I decided to give "digi scrapping" a whirl .... and purchased a few digital scrapbook kits. This one is from Kathy Goldstein and its called "Make it Pop". The subject ... my kitten Wednesday (this is her shortly after I brought her home, while she and her litter mates were in my foster care).
This kit comes with all sorts of fun elements including several frames, ribbons, flowers, the butterflies, curli-ques, pearls and more. I found the whole thing easy to use.
Here's Wednesday! Can you believe how BIG she is getting! She was enjoying the Florida sun over the weekend! Thankfully, its warmed up here, and its back to sunny and about 80 degrees.
She loves watching the birdies fly around outside!

*ETA - so many of you have asked about this! I came home from work one day and found that the Baked Potatoes (i.e. Max and Ollie, the two older cats) had temporarily declared a truce with the kitten (wednesday) and ALL of them were snuggled up on the blanket together. I went to grab my camera and I got caught Wednesday digitally mid-yawn. I can just picture the evil "bwaaaa haaaa haaa" laugh coming from her as she plots her kitten revenge!
Here is my kitten Wednesday (look at how big she is growing!) on the patio last weekend when it was warm and sunny! She had a ball watching the birds (mostly blue jays and cardinals) in the trees out back. She started out on the table, then tried to share Ollie's seat (althought Ollie wasn't too happy about that!).

Wednesday is having a great recovery, she's getting lots of extra attention and is starting to have a little pep in her step! {Which you may not guess from this pic} It was *chilly* here in FL - we had frost last night! So she was pretty much glued to the sheepskin!
