I know I've kept you waiting on cards for a while, I've been making them but sooooo busy playing with my foster kittens that I just haven't had time to photograph and blog them.
Here's another card I did for Hope You Can Cling To - challenge #24, thank a caregiver. One of my absolute fav sentiments from Squigglefly.

For challenge this week for All Things Unity is to "get buggy with it" . I pulled out one of my fav stamps from Unity one of the stamps from the June 2009 Kit of the Month with an inspirational message, paired with a butterfly sticker. This card is also for the Hope You Can Cling to Challenges - color challenge to use yellow, green and brown together (HYCCT1107)
I used a piece of paper from K & Co (Que Sera Sera), with the June 09 KOTM stamp in brown ink, and a dimensional butterfly sticker.
The butterfly inspiration came from these gorgeous butterflies I spotted earlier this week in north Florida, I am not sure but these may be the pretties moths I have ever seen. (Or are these butterflies?)

Here's a card featuring all Stampin' Up stamps and cardstock. Its a collage type card featuring "faux bleach" with Upsy Daisy stamp set. Faux bleach is the process of heat embossing (usually clear), sponging your color on, then using an iron to remove the embossing powder. I stamped over that with En Francais (french script), I place the butterfly from Nature Walk and the sentiment from Afterthoughts.
The only "non" SU element is the rhinestone bling you could always substitute something else if you wanted to keep the card all stampin' up products.
Stamps: Nature Walk, En Francais, Upsy Daisy and Afterthoughts.
Cardstock: Pretty In Pink, Basic Black, White
Created for the Hope You Can Cling to challenges on Splitcoast, this card was inspired by the caterpillar turned cocoon turned butterfly in my yard the other day. Digital sentiment from Squigglefly.
Last week I noticed one of my orchids was blooming:
I used one of the photos in my card for Splitcoast Stamper's Hope You Can Cling To challenge (all month long, great prizes, great cause!). I added a stamped "bee" (this is from SU's Nature Walk stamp set) and the sentiment is PTI.
Created for two challenges - Unity's distessed embossing UNITYWCMD1 and HYCC1108 "Hang in There". There is a heart shaped charm that hangs from the bird's mouth.
Deets:
Paper: Core'dinations in Tim Holtz distress colors (I believe this is victorian velvet), Kraft and pink cartdtock, bird is patterned dsp from K & Co.
Ink: dark chocolate from PTI
Stamp: November 2009 KOTM
I'm playing along again - all month- with Splitcoast Stamper's Hope You Can Cling To card drive and challenges. There are lots of great prizes! Last year I completed all the challenges - this year I hope to again!
This card was created for HYCCT1103 "Real Men Wear Pink" to create a masculine card and incorporate pink into your creation. I dug into my fav Cosmo Cricket "Wanted" stash (I had a few sheets that were on the cutting table and undamaged in the hot water heater incident).
Its Monday, and its time for another Squigglefly challenge. This week the challenge is all about paper piecing! With digital images - its easy peasy! This challenge uses a digital freebie "Fight Like A Girl" from Squigglefly artist Chesney Young <----- click to go check it out.
October is breast cancer awareness month AND all month long, on Splitcoast, they have a daily challenge called "Hope You Can Cling To" card drive <---click to go check it out. This digi is fabulous for soooo many challenges.
I used some paper I had in my stash (this is SU) and some lace and a pearl brade, just to add some girly fun.

Anothere difference - I used staples to adhere the sentiment (which is from The Angel Company, by the way). I never have liked staples on my project, but now I've done a few things with staples - I like the contrast they provide on this card.
