(My new license plate! No not really, too many letters but this gives me an idea!)
Welcome to week 14 of the Twilight Tuesday Inspiration Challenge! The lovely and talented EVE selected this week's theme.
Our goal this week: Create any craft project using BASEBALL as your inspiration.
Eve also asked: Who was your favorite player in the baseball game in the movie? Why? Will you ever listen to thunder and lightning and not think of this scene?
Believe it or not - my favorite player is Esme! I think this was one of those sections in the book & movie where Esme just shines - when she tells Bella to keep them all honest (cause they cheat) that just made me smile. And she really warm with Bella - I think its one of the first places where you start to see the *real* Esme.
Will I ever listen to thunder and lightening again and not think its vampires playing baseball - no !!!!
Don't forget to leave your comments here:

Batting first ..... my papercraft card :-) like the baseball analogy? that's about the best I can do. I'm not much of a baseball fan.
This card isn't my most inspiring piece of work, but it all came together very nicely this weekend. The paper is baseball themed and on clearance at Michael's :-) and the stamp set is "Little Tees" from Gina K - its a great selection of three different t-shirts and oodles of sayings for them. Gina K also makes "So Sporty" a similar set but with sweatshirts and new oodles of sayings - you can mix and match endlessly. I stamped it on a piece of patterned paper that looks like hundreds of baseballs, cut out and its "popped" up with dimensional stickers.
I embellished with a dimensional sticker of a baseball glove and then made a baseball embellishment out of my "Build a Brad" set. Its on Night of Navy (SU) cardstock.
Next up .... the real MVP of my projects this week. Can you guess what it is?
Isn't that apple stamp incredible???? I found it the other weekend in the clearance bin (can you tell I love shopping waaaaaay more than America's pastime?)!!!!
Do you want to see what's inside???? Are you ready? Cause this is an idea that took a while to figure out how to execute. I can post it tomorrow if you don't think you're really ready.
You are?? okay!!!!
Can you tell I'm excited about these?
I used the same stamp set (Little Tees form Gina K) only on shrink plastic. I printed Team Edward (in the Twilight font, of course!) onto my shrink plastic. Then very carefully stamped the image over top (that took a bit of manuevering - my stamp a ma jig probably would have come in handy but I didn't think to use it!. I stamped the back in a flourish pattern so that the backs would't be plain - I think its cool the way it shows through slightly. I added a few Swarovski crystals in Siam red, Jet black and Black Diamond AB along with some silver jump rings. Miraculously I had my head screwed on tight and remembered to punch the holes BEFORE shrinking (can't do it after ... its too late !). These have been placed for sale in my Etsy store.
AND ... don't forget to check out the rest of the Twilight Tuesday design team to see what they're up to!
