Remember in my last post where I reserved the right to change my word? LOL, well I'm exercising my right.
About mid week, while watching the kittens play, wrestle, romp, pounce and LEAP into the air, I realized that was my word for this year. LEAP. As in "Leap of faith", ten lords a leapin', and one small step for man, one giant leap for mankind. Oh, and its LEAP year!

My adventures with the macro-lens! I've loved photography since I was a kid! One of my favorite and earliest cameras was a 110 mm with a macro lens! It first got me intriqued with the very nature of macro photography and photographing flowers! Some of my *earliest* work was orchids! I still love orchids. I love the depth of field of each of these shots. If you saw me .... I was the one standing IN the flower bed, with my camera nose to nose with the flowers! Thank you for not calling the police! LOL!
