I have been playing with my colored pencil and odorless mineral spirits - and these pansies (aks Year of Flowers Violets from Papertrey Ink) were my recent target. I matched them up with Button Boutique set and some paper from Graphic 45. After coloring the flowers and cutteing them out - I used my Tim Holtz Rock Candy (clear crackle paint) over top of them for a cool effect - here's a close-up:
