Did you see this week's tutorial from Splitcoast called Watercolor Bleed? <----- click for all the details.
Lots of fun! I combined stamps from Gina K for this (the pine branches) with a stamp from The Artful Stamper in Canada (I bought this at StampFest in Orlando!). The pine branches are heat embossed in Tinsel ep from Ranger (its white AND silver glitter), and the ornaments are embossed with Silver ep from Stampin' Up - which is still my favorite.
I watercolored it with my "brights" Pacific Point, Bermuda Blue, Rich Razzleberry. The green used in the pine is Always Artichoke and Glorious Green. The ribbon is some purple wrinkle ribbon that was a gift from Dani (thank you!)
I had so much fun with this technique that I did a few more of the ornaments, to adorn the cover of some gift boxes.
