here are a few more of the journals, these were quite fun to make! I'm making them for a craft show I do every year in south florida, and I'm hoping they're popular there too!
Here are a few details:
I used a variety of K & Co papers from the Que Sera Sera collection. I used "gel medium" to adhere the paper onto the books, this is a "new discovery" for me - from the art supply store - like mod podge but waaaaaaaaaaay more fabulous! (I have problems with modge podge never drying in the humidity of florida, I haven't had that problem yet with the gel medium). This paper is full of color and life!
I made paper flowers using a book from a thrift store and the scallop circle punch from SU. The ribbon, is recycled ribbon made from indian sari's. The stamped saying is a stamp I recently picked up from Cornish Heritage Farms in the Thomas Kinkade collection.
Inside the books, are 100 lined pages awaiting your jounaling.
