I had picked up this shadowbox frame at IKEA awhile ago (its in the frame section, called Ribba and its 5.5 x 5.5 in square or 14 cm x 14 cm). I decided to create a Christmas themed project wtih the small "Jingle" decor elements in Really Red vinyl.
The background is a piece of cardstock cut 5.5 in square, with a piece of DSP (this is from Christmas Treasures dsp) cut to 4.75 in. square. There is a red cardstcok border all the way around it that isn't visible from my camera angle.
After placing the decor elements on the glass (these are soooo easy, they go on in seconds!) I placed several large jingle bells inside the glass and gently moved them around to where they looked creatively arranged.
This is really a quick project that is less than $10 to create a beautiful piece of home decor for yourself or as a gift! If shipping, I recommend placing the jinglebells separately in bubble wrap - just to avoid breakage.
